A focused environment for all your tools. Pick the ones you like and study without leaving the screen.

Study Sessions in Studycamp

A study session is a focused space where all your tools live. Instead of jumping between tabs and apps, you open one full-screen session with your files, AI, notes, timer, and the tools you actually like to use.

You choose the tools when you create it. Each one gets a tab and a number key, so switching takes one keystroke and never costs you your place. Add or remove tools any time.

Telescope keeps your focus tools close: Pomodoro, sounds, recorder, video, and fullscreen. Close the session and it is saved exactly as you left it.

Go to Study session, pick a workspace, then hit New Session.

Start a study session

Start a session

  1. Open Study session and pick the workspace that has your files. You can also start from inside the workspace.
  2. Hit New Session. Give it a name like Midterm Prep and pick a color.
  3. Choose your tools. Reorder them and change the number key for each one if you like.
  4. Hit Create & Start. Study mode opens full-screen and saves as you work.
  5. Leave any time. Reopen it from the workspace, rename it, or change its color.

Pick your own tools

Each session has the tools you chose, one tab and one number key each. Press a key to switch. Your file and progress stay put. Forgot one? Use Add tool in the tab bar. Too many tabs? The rest wait under More tools.

Chat

Ask questions about your files. Answers cite the passages they came from.

ResearchPro

Web research with sources, plus your own files.

Notes

Write notes and let Studypilot edit them.

Summary

A summary, glossary, and practice exam from your selected files.

Quiz

Build a quiz from your material and work through it in place.

Flashcards

Backpack tools open inside a session too: To-do, Kanban, Canvas, Dictionary, Voice Notes, Calendar, Grades, Wolfram Alpha, and ChatGPT.

Your number keys

Tools get number keys 1, 2, 3 and so on, in the order you put them. Change any key when you create the session, or tick the box to save your setup as the default for new sessions. Keys work anywhere except while you are typing.

In chat mode, put your reader wherever you want. Drag the divider to resize.

Files and history

Pick which files each tool works on from the file sidebar. Every tool keeps its own history in a sidebar, so you can start something new or reopen an old one without losing the rest.

Telescope

Click the telescope icon in the top bar for your focus tools: a Pomodoro timer, ambient sounds, a voice recorder, a video player for lecture videos, light and dark theme, and fullscreen. A dot on the icon shows something is running, and the timer counts down right on it.
